I have never been a particularly gifted photographer but I purchased my first digital camera, a Magpix M2100 which instantly turned me into the magical snapper pixie from happy snapper land.

The Magpix M2100, Chinese technology at its best.

I would say that overall, I am pretty impressed with this camera which cost only £85! It is 2.1 megapixel, x2 digital zoom, 1.5" TFT screen, 16MB internal memory and supports SD and Multi Media Cards. Basic but good for the money in January 2003 when I bought it.

Unfortunately, it no longer works. The battery door will no longer close without the help of some industrial parcel tape. The button for taking the pictures (which is pretty crucial to the whole affair) doesn't work either.

I have used this camera to record various social events which
I have been to as well as my travelling exploits.

I put these on to a modest web site which you can look at here.

This site was only put together for a few people to look at as a bit of fun but all sorts of people have seen it! I am sometimes introduced to new people as "that guy with the picture web site" which makes a refreshing change from "that guy who stalked me once" - damn I thought I was so careful too!
