I'm going to try to keep people informed of my own modding efforts. I have been fiddling around with PCs for a while although I'm still very much an amateur.

I guess it's a bit in the blood really. My Dad, although a farmer by trade, was a keen tickerer with computers back on the farm in County Galway, Ireland. He and my uncle Paddy got a little bit carried away in the coal shed one day. See for yourself here. My mum went crazy when she found the entire winters coal supply out in the rain. Anyway, all that kit just about worked out the time in Dublin was three minutes past ten...precisely. Impressive you might think? Particularity so when you consider that the farm had no electricity.

I am not going to suggest I could live with that kind of invention but I'll give it a go. I could do with a bit of feedback actually. I'm at the planning stage at the moment as I want to be absolutely sure about what I'm doing before I commit the cash.
