My Computers: The Present

My current PC details are as follows:

Processor: 2400 AMD Athalon

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Ultra with Firewire and RAID (naturally)

My PC - sorry about the messy wires.

Memory: 256 Samsung DDR 400

Hard Drive: 80GB Western Digital Caviar Special Edition Hard Drive (x2) - with 8MB cache.

Drives: 52x24x52 CDRW, 52x CD-ROM, 3.5" floppy drive - all black.

Sound: Creative Labs Platinum Audigy 2

Graphics: 64MB DDR AVI 7000 (dual monitor)

Case: Lian-Li PC-7 brushed aluminium case

Monitor: Novatech 19" flat screen VGA

Extras: Akasas rounded IDE cables throughout. I also have a PCI exhaust which I use to suck away heat from the graphics card. I have two neon case lights but haven't got round to fitting them yet.

It was my dream to put together a decent PC for about three years and I finally managed it in November 2002. I was pretty skint so I bought parts individually.

I sourced the majority of the parts at the computer fair which is held on Saturdays near Tottenham Court Road, London. The fair offers very competitive prices and a wide selection of top quality components.
