A Beginners Guide to Cycling in London (By a Beginner)

This is not me I am a bloke.

I don't for a second claim to be Lance Armstrong or any sort of cycling expert. People are always telling me that I am brave/stupid for cycling in London. I would say I'm probably both. But then again paying a vast some of money to be herded like cattle on to the city's tube system seems pretty stupid to me. OK, it's very dangerous and it doesn't matter how good a rider you are because you always rely to a certain extent, on the ability of others to avoid a potential accident. You could ride perfectly every day of your life and still end up under the wheels of a route master through no fault of your own.

I thought I would pass on a few tips that I learnt the hard way.
