I didn't watch any Sumo as it was out of season but I love
this picture!

My old pal from the road trip to Barcelona Willo moved to Japan at the end of 2003. He quite rightly decided to do the decent thing and invite me out there to take advantage of his OVERWHELMING hospitality. He moved to Sabae City in the Fukui Prefecture a place he described as "the Japanese Hull", a little unfairly in my opinion. It wasn't the liveliest of places but it was a great place
for us to learn a bit about life outside the big cities. We got to see a lot of countryside too.

I say we as I wasn't flying solo this time and was accompanied by two squeaky young ladies by the names of Nas and Meeel.

We did a fair bit in our two weeks as you can see by looking at the route and pictures index pages.
