A particularly well traveled friend of mine suggested I should accompany
him on a short trip to the DPRK.

Contrary to popular speculation there was no drunken bet aspect to this
trip. Neither of us had ever met anyone who has ever been there and we
were curious to find out what it was like.

I haven't written an essay (just a few notes) as nobody ever reads any of this stuff anyway!
