We flew into Sunan International Airport, Pyongyang from Beijing aboard a Russian Air Koryo jet.

During our stay we also went down as far as the demilitarized zone on the border with South Korea and had lunch in Kaesong, a city near the border.

To leave we caught a sleeper train to Beijing from Pyongyang. I decided to get off in the Chinese border town of Dandong.
