The Cobble Monster 2018

Reading Time: 1 minute

The premier cobbled, urban cyclosportive was back again for a seventh edition.

This time there was a change of format. The owners of the Gypsy Hill Tavern had moved on so the finish venue was the excellent Brixton Jamm. To change it up even more the start was across the road at event supporters Brixton Cycles.

One thing about the Cobble Monster is we are usually very lucky with the weather. Not this year. The rain tipped it down all day which probably led to a few drop outs. Numbers were still healthy though.

The weather added that magic Roubaix madness especially if you look at some cobbled climbs.

We managed to raise a decent sum for Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Thanks to everyone who took part.
